Nina is one of the most sensual, relaxing, soothing crooners there is. May she, as well, R.I.P.

Definately not a phobia of mines (hehe)

I love Nina Symone. I must admit, I didn't know about her until I saw the movie Point of No Return, with Bridget Fonda. I know that sounds awful, but I'm just telling the truf.

Hey you two - I heard that "Point of No Return" introduced a lot of folks to Nina who wasn't knowin'!

I came up in a jazz household, so she quickly became one of my favorites..She's just so damn real and raw and fabulous and unapologetic!

My mother listened to Nina Simone when she was pregnant with me, so I have been listening to her all of my life. I just regret that I never saw her in concert. It was the week that I moved to LA and got a job at MTV....
