Okay, Supa Sister could understand a Terrance Howard nomination for this
(CRASH)
or, maybe even this
(LACKAWANNA BLUES)
or even THIS
(BEST MAN)
But this?????
(HUSTLE & FLOW)
Get the fuck outta here. Hustle and Flow was straight garbage.

Awww...I liked the movie but definitely do not believe it to be of GG status. I liken this sh!t to Denzel/Oscar's circa Training Day and Halle/Oscar's circa Monster's ball. Both of these actors have demonstrated greater range via more notable projects, but they get props for furthering the stereotype... Nice. R
Well, dayum. This one is a news flash for me (ain't been payin' attention). And that movie actually put me to sleep. GG, huh? Well, we know who won't be winning, huh.
Oh, I agree with you so much on this one! It just puts me in the mind of Dezel and Halle winning their awards for their movies! Those movies were not even the best performances of their careers! I guess we can only get critical aclaim, but giving into sterotypes...say it aint so!

I definately think The Best Man was his best role by far! Lately it seems like he's been playing the same character.
