So Supa went about her usual Sunday tasks: Laundry, straightening about the house, grocery shopping, meal preparation...you know, all that exciting domestic shit...And much later in the eve, after being disappointed by the new Soprano's episode, yet again - Supa calmed herself with a nice batch of sugar cookies, and an 11:00 pm viewing of a Sex in the City rerun, before setting her dreaded alarm clock...
But...wait... while glancing at the news, Supa caught sight of a large crowd in downtown Los Angeles..seems hoards of people were celebrating Cesar Chavez' birthday, and....hold the fuck up...Cesar Chavez is a paid holiday for us hard-working civil servants!!!! I TOTALLY forgot!!!

couldn't disagree more, supsis. i thought last nights ep of sopranos had some powerful scenes, i.e. when he sees his cousin (steve buscemi), gets a glimpse of his mother in that house, hears meadows child-like voice calling to him, telling him not to leave; when he hears paulie's stupid voice and he's bangin' on the wall telling him to shutup; when paulie and gayboy give carmella the envelope of money and she sees their face as they get on the elevator. maybe you're referring to last weeks ep which was pretty whack. if not, whatchu talkin' bout willis?! and i'm in new york and i'm takin' off for chavez day too, so there!

Supa that's funny as hell. I just did the same thing, last week. for Maryland Day. I was all set to go to work and a colleague called and said, "u know we're off Friday, right?"
