"Great things are going to grow out of all this"

I've spent senseless weeks figuring how to construct this entry in a fashion which matched my hesitant heart. I now realize it's been the severest form of emotional procrastination. I wanted to give some form of sweeping "poetic justice" to the finale, a summary of all that has been recorded, confessed, charted, and revealed in this blog. 'Tis useless. It would be an attempt to abbreviate a beautiful jagged journey in one sentence or less.
Pure childish, futility at its best.
Truth: It simply feels right for me to release TWOSS, now, let it stand on it's own - as a brief photograph into the world of one woman - the losses, discoveries, love, let downs, observations, rants, ponderings, and as always - the fragile hopes for a better future. My first blog entry was about the murder of a loved one, and there have been many like entries since. Life and loss have been too thick a thread woven into these words of dreams and wishes, and in them now are my desire to move forward. I must let it go; in order to catapult my words, my identity, and my future in to something bigger; something more.
No, I will never forget. It is unreasonable and impossible. This blog and its contents will be imprinted on my soul forever. I have celebrated, succeeded, shared, reveled, raged, given up, broken down, questioned, cursed, and fought my way back into the light - over and over again. And more than that, I have learned that compassion is present in this world; that there are good people existing within these tangled bandwiths who can support, relate, agree, and disagree with you - all through the written word, and out of love and respect.
I promise, I'm won't get mushy. This is not good-bye, just a bookmark of where the last seven years of The World of Supa Sister is parked. For posterity. This is merely a transition to the next chapter(s). You'll see me again soon, somewhere - and that's a promise. Partially, (oh did I forget) because I'm working on a new manuscript. (yay!) AND, in the meantime, a brand new blog to come.
Until then - stay blessed, stay supa.

"I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now , as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that;
and may I say, not in a shy way,
No, oh no, not me.

Yay! I likes. Such lovely words (first paragraph is off the chain in its eloquence). I so love the way you write--apparently today is a good day for me and things I love. lol
Seriously though, looking forward to the new blog (I still vote for WP) AND the book! You know how I feel about starting anew with all the new blogs I've had. I really like my current one though. Let's hope that does not change. haha
Yep, let it go, boo! Onward! Love you!
Thanks, chica! Sincerely.
Now, you know I'mma need your Wordpress expertise :)
Forward, onward, upward!
Love you toooooo!
Man, your writing is amazing. I'm sad to see her go but I'm raising a glass on the East Coast regarding what's to come!

Hmm. . .
I rarely get on my Facebook desktop style because I'm a blackberry kind of chick. But I am grateful that I did today. . .And saw the link.
I had something scripted to write which sounded similar to 'say it ain't so, don't go', until I read the content - and I GET IT.
Yet in still, I am bittersweet about what I see here. Mixed feelings not so much so as it relates to doing what you need to do and keeping it pushing, but as it relates to my irrational phobias that have to do with letting go.
But this is the right thing. It reminds me of an athlete who retires at the right time, and moves on to something else. From a technical standpoint, you are not retiring, you are moving on another phase, another transition, but the analogy is befitting.
This blog, IN particular, is about a certain phase, even perhaps pivotal transitional points, that have landed you where you are today. It is now encapsulated forever in cyberspace. We were there when you were in pain, out of pain, in the darkness, and coming out of the dark. We are but voyeurs, outsiders looking in, yet in still, blessed and at least for myself, grateful to have a view to a kill into the World According to Supa Sister.
How can we become blessed with what else is in store for us, but to listen to our hearts, the spirit and the drive that tells us that it is time to move on.
Yes, I will never forge that this is where I fell in love (and in love in an appropo word) with:
One Cool Sista
Supa Sista
The Diary of Jaimie
Glamazon/2320 (?)/Aunt Jackie
That Girl Tam
Sangin Diva
Cocoa Girl on the Job
Indigo Trails of My Thoughts. . .
A few of which transformed into wonderful, beautiful relationships that I will carry with me forever.
You Tia, and residue of Nisa, in particular, set my feet on a path that I have been searching for on this dirt road of life for several years.
The Next Chapter beckons. Your cyber audience, fans, friends, voyeurs, sisters, family, mother, sister, WCBH's, and most importantly, your soul, await the Rebirth of Slick.
Be Well,
P
WOW! Reading P's comment made tears come to my eyes! She so befittingly summed up EVERYTHING! LOL!

Ours is an envionment where evil is perceived to be rewarded while good is punished. As with everything the Gods have a reason for creating this perception::::
People who fall on the good side of the good/evil scale have more favor, and when they do something wrong the Gods punish them BECAUSE THEY WANT THEM TO LEARN. The Gods want them to receive this feedback in hope they make corrections and begin to behave appropriately. The Gods DON'T like evil and refuse to grant this feedback.
EVERYBODY pays for what they do wrong, only evil people must wait until their next life before they will experience the wrath of the Gods, manifested in their reincarnation as a lower form of life into environments with increased/enhanced temptations.
Sadly, this allows the Gods to position this perception of evil rewarded as temptation, one which they use as an EXTREMELY effective corruptor.
Both Africa and the Medittereanean are regions which have sexual issues. This is a sign of morbid disfavor once you understand that females are the God's favored gender. Muhammad's (Mohammed's) polygamy halfway through his life as a prophet was preditory. Now a huge percentage of Muslims believes in male superiority and that the abuse of women is God's will. Female genital mutilation is still practiced in Africa. Black misogyny is the most eggregious example in the recent past.
Black member size is temptation to a predisposed population.
The patriarchal cancer spread throughout Europe because of Christianity, of which the majority of policy makers were Italian men. Expect the largest landowner in Europe and the continent's original superpower also played a major role in African slavery.
Militancy in Africa is consistant with the Iraqi example, as was slavery and the KKK here in America:::Fear enforces proper behavior. Without it we see what happens as a result of gross/morbid disfavor:::::AIDS, crack babies, dead young men in gangland retaliation killings. This is the purpose behind many black's historical tendancy towards resistance.
The same principle was true in Europe and throughout the world for centuries:::People whom lived under iron fists were conditioned to think the right way. As a result they experienced higher numbers of children accend into heaven because they were taught to think and behave appropriately, which they passed on to their children. Our preditory envionment of "freedom" was the primary purpose the Gods had when implimenting this strategy that is the United States, one which they used to spred the cancer of democracy and westernization throughout the world. And the Gods use this tool that is America to prey on the disfavored both at home and abroad:::Much like the ghetto, America in general experiences a heightened level of temptation due to the people's disfavor.
Even the Old Testiment is not to be taken literally, but the Gods do offer clues throughout to help the disfavored:::The apple is a tool of temptation used to corrupt Adam and Eve and cast them out of the Garden of Eden.
There is another lesson to be learned from this passage, and it is quite similar to the vailing issue and the discourse over women's attire which ultimately died in the 70s:::Women are responsible for and control the fate of mankind.
Think about what I say. Consider what I teach. Society is going to become disturbingly ugly as we approach the Apocalypse due to spiralling, runaway disfavor.
I do not know when this will occurr, but it is the God's way to grant some time before they end on Planet Earth.
Make the decision to always be good and never look back. Until you do this technology will employ tactics to test your resolve:::Ridicule, beligerance, doubt and refusal to abandon what people perceive to be their "investment".
Pray daily. Think appropriately. Too many are confident, unaware of the God's awesome powers or their status as antients. Others may fall prey to their positioning.
Be humbled, God-fearing and beware of the God's temptations, for everyone is tested to evaluate their worthiness.
Search rest
Two years late but MY GOD. Amazing writer you are. All of you.
Blessings,
Cocoa
One is always on a strange road, watching strange scenery and listeningto strange music. Then one day, you will find that the things you tryhard to forget are already gone.
Very nice, thanks.
Just as the gods used WWII to justify an influx of new technologies so will they use the impending pestilence which kills over half the world's population to justify historical medical advances, including the "cure of aging", initiating the "1000 years with Jesus on Earth".
We've seen this tactic used recently with AIDS, targetted at homosexuals and blacks in Africa.
Then, as promised, The End will come with fire::::Global tectonic subduction.
Anyone the gods role play telepathically or use for positioning in this Situation extensively have a legacy of hurting others, the more they hurt the more eggregious in history their legacy. Considering they tell me my auidence at any one time is nearly half a billion it is not inconceivable Adolph Hitler was reincarnated into the Situation. He achieved his legacy of hurting millions with his role in WorldWarII.
Due to the expansive accumulated audience in this Situation these individuals have now qualified for a legacy of hurting "10 figures" of people, into the billions, and as a result own a very exclusive legacy which will qualify them to be used for the pestilence event:::The monsters of tommarrow.
The gods behave monsterously in the course of managing Planet Earth but they demand people be good if you are to have a chance to ascend as a child in a future life.
Not only is doing the right things important (praying, attoning for your sins, thinking the right way:::accepting humility, modesty, vulnerability), so is avoiding the wrong things important as well:::"Go and sin no more".
You NEED active parents who share wisdom to have a real chance to ascend into heaven in a future life, and you MUST be a good parent as well to have that opportunity.
Before you get angry...Just because you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense.
1. Punishment is a good thing. It means they care and want you to learn.
2. For some people it's too late and the gods don't want them to change, left to celebrate sin and wallow in this wicked enviornment.
